Powdies Secret Recipe (Part 4): Getting ready for Pancake Day
Pancakes are a popular breakfast option despite containing little fiber and nutrients. When eaten with butter and syrup, a pancake breakfast offers little nutritional value with large amounts of calories, fat, and carbohydrates. One way to lower the excess calories is to skip the butter and syrup.
This week, we tried boosting pancake nutritional value even further by adding Powdies mixes to the pancake batter! The new flavor was naturally sweet, with no need for syrup or other artificial sweeteners!
Mix into pancake batter
Give it a good whisk
The result was healthy and fluffy pancakes!
Try it yourself by adding one Powdies mix for every 1 cup of batter.
